Churches and Synagogues are filled with Volunteers. It is hard to imagine a House of Worship functioning without volunteers. In the Anderson Guide to Enjoying Greenwich over forty local Houses of Worship are listed. Members devote incredible time to committees, events, choirs, youth groups, lay ministry, teaching and services. Many of these organizations have out-reach programs, where volunteers help our needy, nearby, as well as nationally and internationally. In addition, there are a number of independent religious groups that need volunteers: Greenwich District Council of Catholic Women869.5794 This affiliate of the National Council of Catholic Women is a unifying group of women from eight Catholic Churches in Greenwich.
